Welcome to the Protein Modules Consortium !

The Protein Modules Consortium (PMC) is an international association with pure scientific goals, coordinating offices in North America and Europe, and with the specific aim of promoting and disseminating scientific knowledge concerning the structure and function of protein modules. It organizes and participates in congresses, conferences, workshops and presentations, and is also involved in the publication of books, periodicals and other media. This website is intended for the free exchange of ideas and comments and for the development of the protein module field.

Keystone Symposium in memory of Tony Pawson
Keystone Symposium in memory of Tony Pawson was held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in January of 2015. Tony Hunter and Rune Linding co-organized a dignified and scientifically stellar tribute to Tony Pawson. For details see the impressive program. The PMC meeting was held during that symposium.  The next PMC meeting is planned to be held in Seefeld in September 2020.

Death of a Titan: Remembrance article about Tony Pawson
When Tony Pawson passed away, the cell signaling community lost a great scientist. His outgoing nature and inquisitiveness and excitement about science influenced many members of the field. Researchers who knew Tony offer fond remembrances here to commemorate his impact on our understanding the molecular mechanisms governing signal transduction and on many individual careers.
